Last week our office on the ground floor of the library building was flooded. Many of our irreplaceable documents and photos were damaged. It will take many hours over the next few weeks to dry them out and find out what can be saved. While drying and attempting to salvage the historic materials is our primary concern, we also lost thousands of dollars in supplies and we face the unknown cost of replacing/repairing bookcases, file cabinets and other fixtures.
